OUR WHY:

We focus on teachers because they are the single most important factor in a child’s education and because they deserve the support.

We recognize that new teachers, specifically, are more often placed in hard to staff positions at schools that have a majority of students that have been marginalized and underserved by society. This is one of the many ways structural racism manifests in our education system.

The results of these inequitable systems are obvious and painful. The opportunity gap for children is widening and teachers are leaving the profession in droves. We must do better. Our children and teachers deserve it.

OUR HOW:

We recognize that systemic structural change is needed, however, our speciality lies in directly supporting teachers and making an impact that helps them with their tomorrow.

While we, alongside many others, work to restructure what education looks like, our mission is to build teacher capacity right now, so that our students who are in classroom right now, have more effective and supported educators in front of them.

We do this through a multi-tiered support structure that consists of self-paced online courses, hands-on workshops, and coaching.
